Both the Elan Vital and Elan represent the modernization of the classic touring bike. They both share the same Geometry and compact CrMo Steel frame and able to accommodate a myriad of tires sizes to dial in the needs of your next adventure adaptable for either 650c (27.5”) or 700c wheel sizes. The compact frame inspires confidence with a lower center of gravity and excellent standover clearance.

The evolution of Elan Vital, our adventure touring bike the now makes it more versatile, coming with 27.5'“ x 2.05” (650x50) tires and room for more rubber should you wish. Elan Vital geometry has changed to make the bike more stable, with better standover clearance, and room for full size panniers out back. Frame and fork will both have triple water bottle mounts for King, or Anything cages. The Elan Vital comes with versatile and usable Adventure Gearing with a better than 1:1 gear Ratio.

One thing you need when you have your bike fully loaded for a long tour is a wide range of gearing and here the Elan Vital delivers. Using the FSA Adventure Crankset w 46/32 Tooth rings Paired with an 11-34 Tooth Cassette gives you better than a 1:1 gear ratio for those long sustained climbs. The Shimano 105 11 speed shift levers, front and rear 105 derailleurs, give you sublime light action yet precise shifting with excellent gear spacing let you keep your cadence exactly where you want it.

Take your bike beyond the ordinary

The Elan Vital is your perfect partner for long distance adventure touring. Multiple mounting points for a rack and full size panniers out back and the Frame and fork will both have triple water bottle mounts for Anything cages letting you fully expand your cargo carrying capacity. The Elan Vital is fitted with 27.5” X 2.05” (650 X 50) tires for handling all your off road routes giving you excellent comfort yet maintaining fast rolling to get you there as quick as you want to go.

The Elan Vital comes with an internally routed Carbon Fork with a Thru Axle for stiffness and moulded triple mounts on each side to expand your cargo ability. TRP Spire-C Dual Piston Disc Brakes set an industry standard for stopping ability in any condition while being simple to maintain and are adjustable from both sides to fine tune your clearance as needed.
