With so many fantastic tire choices these days coupled with the longevity of the Romax Ti frame, you can have wheel-sets for different occasions; 700x33 cyclocross tires, 700x40 Road-Plus tires or even 650x47 tires for more volume and surface contact riding those wilder destinations!
Gravel Gears
With a 1X set up like a 40T front and a wide range 11-42T rear cassette, simplicity is emphasized with a single gear shifter and no front derailleur, as well as an overall lighter bike!
Or, great options like the new “Adventure” front chainring combinations of (30/43T) and 10-36 cassettes provide closer ratio gear combinations for the perfect cadence and slightly less wear on your drivetrain.
Touring
The Romax has fender and rack mounts and is comfortable for long distance riding. It is plenty strong enough to carry all your gear to work daily or across the country and generously helps smooth out some road vibration as well.
Road+
Build it fast, with standard road gearing and road tires and stick to the pavement without compromise. Or, expand your surface options and set it up like our new Romax Steel R; full SRAM Rival AXS 30/43T with a 10-36T cassette, and the WTB Exposure 700x36 tires. Suddenly hard-packed dirt pathways, dykes, township roads and forest service roads are your new best friends!
