How will you set up your Romax Ti?
Cyclocross ? Gravel Riding ? Bred for it ! Road Riding ? Oh its fast ! You name it, the Romax can do it.
1 X 700 Race, 2 X 650 Adventure, 2 x 700 Road. Any way you want it.
Road Plus ?
Road+? Gravel? Adventure? How about all of the above?
WTB now has 4 versions of their awesome Road Plus tires in 650x47c sizes that fit the Romax Ti frame and because the overall diameter is similar to a 700x33 tire, the handling and BB height are not affected. Run tubeless, between 32-42PSI depending on the surface you’re riding. We favor a selection of WTB, Riddler or Raddler 700x40, Cross Boss 700x35, Venture 650x47 or even the fast and light Expanse 700x32.
Gravel ?
For gearing suggestions, there are great options like the new “Adventure” front chainring combinations of (30/46T) and wider ratio cassettes. Or simplify things with a modern 1x set up, 40T front and super wide range 11-42T Rear Cassette! Anything goes !
Touring ?
Sure. The Romax has fender and rack mounts and is comfortable for long distance riding. It is plenty strong enough to carry all your gear.
Road ?
Of course. You can build it light, with standard road gearing and road tires and stick to the pavement without compromise. Set it up like our new Romax Steel R. R for Road! Full Ultegra, Compact crank, 34/50T with an 11-34T cassette, and the WTB Expanse 700x32 tires. That will get you moving in a hurry !
