Mega Tour is back with a new 2.0 Version ! Now part of our new EXPLORE Series. Our take on an alternative adventure touring bike. Not everyone is comfortable with a traditional drop bar touring bike so the Mega Tour 2.0 is the comfortable sit up flat bar that can handle the roughest far away back country touring !

The simplicity of a mountain bike, easy to use shifters and a HUGE range of gearing. The Mega Tour comes with even bigger 29 x 2.6” WTB Ranger tires that can climb over most anything yet easily maintain speed on the road. The geometry keeps the bike stable even fully loaded, with more standover clearance than a traditional touring bike for added confidence even kitted with full size panniers out back and all your bike packing gear you can strap on.

Aluminum Frame and Carbon Fork both have triple water bottle mounts for Cargo cages. Updated drivetrain now featuring the new Shimano CUES set up. A super wide range Crankset w 40/26T rings & 11 speed 11-45T Cassette for a ridiculous range and ultra low climbing gear no matter how heavy the load but still plenty fast enough. Now with 4 Piston Shimano Brakes for even more stopping power.

Versatile Adventure Ultra Range 2X drivetrain

The more you have your bike fully loaded for a long tour the more wide range of gearing you need. The Mega Tour 2.0 has the widest range of any of our bikes with ultra low climbing gears to get you up any mountain. With the New Shimano CUES drivetrain for an even greater gearing range with a Crankset w 40/26 Tooth rings Paired with an 11-45 Tooth Cassette. This gives you way better than a 1:1 gear ratio for those long sustained climbs even while fully loaded. The Shimano CUES 11 speed shift levers, give you easy to use light action yet precise shifting with excellent gear spacing allows you keep your cadence exactly where you want it.

Rugged, versatile and durable. 

The Mega Tour 2.0 now comes with a Carbon Fork with a Thru Axle that is light and stiff with triple mounts on each side to expand your cargo ability. We have also upgraded the Shimano Hydraulic Disc Brakes to a 4 piston set for even more control and stopping power and with any load and in any condition with light precise modulation.

The Mega Tour 2.0 is your perfect partner for long distance adventure touring even in the most rugged of terrain in unexplored places. Multiple mounting points for a rack and full size panniers out back and the Frame and fork will both have triple water bottle mounts for cargo cages letting you fully expand your cargo carrying capacity.

The Mega Tour 2.0 is fitted with 29” X 2.6” tires for handling all your off road routes giving you excellent comfort yet maintaining fast rolling to get you there as quick as you want to go.

We have even added some “innie” Bar ends giving you another hand position for added comfort on long riding days ! These can be moved further in towards the centre or even removed is if its not your thing !

We have added cable routing for a dropper post if you decide to get even more knarly in your travels

Loading Options

The Mega Tour 2.0 comes with plenty of options for attaching gear and bags, lots of room for handlebar bags or other “luggage” you might want to bring with. A traditional drop bar has the limitation of only what you can fit between the shifter levers. Whereas this style of adventure touring bar lets you load on top or hang from the bottom with more freedom from getting in the way of shifting and braking. The added Innie Bar ends also gives you plenty of options for resting hand placement.

Triple mounts on the forks and Down Tube allow for more water bottle placements or cargo cages. Mounts on the top and 2 on the bottom of the Top Tube for smaller bags or tool storage and even another mounts under the Down Tube give you plenty of options for customizing your set up to what works just for you !
