A Word from The Bike Gallery

Ah....the Sun is finally here!  Woo hoo!!  Saturday June 18th will be the Ride To Conquer Cancer.  An incredible event for a great cause.  For those of us who are not participating in the Ride, come out for some fun at Fiesta Days!!  www.pointgreyfiesta.org The Parade will start early and finish at 11:30.  After that, we'll be hosting our 2nd Annual Kids Race and 1st Annual Dads Race!  www.pointgreyvillage.com Ages 2-12 will race up W.10th Ave. from Trimble St. to Sasamat St.  All kids MUST wear a helmet!  Waivers must be signed by the parents.  We'll have a random draw for all of the kids who participate in the race.  The winner will win a brand new Specialized Hotrock bike!  Every child will receive a Bike Gallery water bottle and a balloon from Kaboodles!  Now for some really funny stuff.  Our 1st Annual Dad's Race!  All dad's MUST wear a helmet.  All dad's will race up the same course from Trimble to Sasamat on a 16" wheel kids bike!!  Yes...get your cameras out folks.  This is going to be hilarious!!  All dad's must finish the course without placing a foot down.  If you do, i'm sorry...you will be disqualified.  Fastest time will WIN a Brodie Force mountain bike!!  Start practicing on your kids bikes now!!!! Lots of stuff happening in July!  Yaletown Grand Prix on Sunday the 3rd!  Axel Merckx Granfondo on Sunday the 10th.  UBC Grand Prix on Tuesday the 12th.  Giro di Burnaby on Thursday the 14th.  Both UBC Grand Prix and Giro di Burnaby races will be supported by the Bike Gallery!  And the Kelowna Granfondo on Saturday the 16th.   All links to these great events are on our New/Events page of our website.  www.vancouverbikegallery.com
