AGM + Film Fest

Greetings! The Sooke Bike Club will be hosting its AGM on June 30.

This will be a very special event, where the work of local film makers will be showcased in our local highschool which boasts one of the best theatres in the region.  This film festival will occur once Club business, (elections) are concluded.

The exciting news circulating around Sooke these days, is the approval of the construction of a bicycle skills park in the jewel of Sooke's municipal parkland- John Phillips Park.  Here is a newspaper article reporting this fantastic success; http://www.sookenewsmirror.com/news/144704775.html

Our club will be utilizing our AGM as a fundraiser for this bicycle park, as the District of Sooke will be unable to provide any funding.  Your generous donation of prizes will help us to raise funds and draw more attendees to our AGM, getting more riders involved in the good work of The Sooke Bike Club, (www.sookebikeclub.com).

Attached, is our poster for this event.  You will notice an empty black area on the poster, and our sponsors for this event will have their logo situated there.  We will also recognize your generous donations at the meeting itself, showing the attendees your commitment to helping to develop Sooke as the mountain bike mecca that it can be.
