Health and Fitness: Don't Let Food Labels Fool You

Beware of the words ‘fat free’ or ‘reduced fat’. Many ‘fat free’ foods are actually loaded with sugar, the reason is when fat is removed something has to be put in its place and that is often sugar or refined carbohydrates – ‘fat free’ doesn't mean ‘sugar free,’ and too much sugar is often the real reason people gain weight. So the next time you go grocery shopping, get the regular variety, and just be conscious of your portion size. ....................
