Editor's Pick
From the endless, mindless drivel aimed at a consuming society we culled a delightful plug from the pages of Momentum Magazine's Fifth Anniversary issue (#45 May/June 2010). Our Elan was awarded an Editor's Pick in their article titled "Get Set For Touring" and the reviewer said all the right things about our two wheeled zoom with a view. We are honoured to be noticed by our local 'zine, thank you, and hope to spend more time tucked among those bits of well written goodness. Momentum Magazine Article:

Brodie Elan
MSRP – $1349 CAD
The Brodie Elan is a delicate blend of old and new. Nothing on this bike is there by chance and everything is designed to last for the long haul – if you are looking for a bike to pedal around the world this could well be your bike. Its color scheme, Shimano Dura Ace Bar End shifting system and tan-brown seat and handlebar are reminiscent of more classic cycle designs, while the Shimano Tiagra and XT derailleur harness newer technologies. The Elan is side-of-the-road serviceable with hard to break and easy to fix parts. Not only for long distance touring, the Elan would be ideal for commuting with braze-ons for front racks. It has a geometry and gear ratio designed for eating up kilometers.
