Build Your Own Brodie Bicycle!

Framebuilding 101 update:  Framebuilding 101 is alive and well, and continues to evolve. Two students have now built Fat Bikes, and the results have been impressive! I spent a few hours modifying our frame jigs, and it was definitely worthwhile. Now we're telling people you can come to UFV and Get Fat. Here is Andy's bike:

I have now taught 26 courses. My youngest student was 15, and my oldest student was 75. A difference of six decades!

I keep on getting more styles of chainstays so students will have a better selection. They come from Nova Cycle in California.

I also like to have a good selection of dropouts. Good selection, eh?

Our next Framebuilding 101 Open House is Jan 8, 2014 at the UFV Aerospace Centre. Come and see the 1894 Giraffe Bike I am building for NAHBS 2014:  I hope you are  well and have Happy Holidays  :)
