Paul Brodie Framebuilding 101 Update

Recently I got into my trusty Toyota van, and visited (17) bicycle shops in Langley / Surrey / Delta / New Westminster / Burnaby / Port Moody / and Coquitlam. Ran out of time for the (5) shops in Maple Ridge, sorry...  I was armed with posters, decals, and a smile. Once again, the variety of shops was very diverse. Three shops had closed their doors for the last time, so I stood for a moment of silence -- before taping a Framebuilding 101 poster and applying a decal to their front window or door. It's becoming well known that the best place for the decal is the rear window of your car... or truck. Framebuilding 101 course #005 starts today! We now have some Spot Brand single speed dropouts, thank you Scott Stephens. I've also ordered some (slightly curved) cruiser style top tubes as well. Nova Cycles (the biggest supplier of tubing in N. America) is also getting some made. It seems that no one has been selling cruiser top tubes for some time. One of my shop goals is to keep expanding the selection of tubing and rear dropouts; this way students will have as many options as possible.

Paul B.

PS: have you got your Framebuilding 101 decal yet?   (actual size..)
