Recap of the SSCXWCvic

So that happened. I think.

I mean, the Internet has been inundated with content about it, so it must be true, and the fact that it was such a blur can only mean that I had so much of a good time that I will never get those brain cells back.

Cyclocross is a beautiful sport because it can do so many things. From grassroots level in our local series, to UCI racing in the Netherlands, to the Single Speed Cyclocross World Championships in Victoria this year, where people who came expecting a race may have been a bit confused when instead they were faced with group rides, dance parties and drink stops. Even knowing the kind of event it is, it’s hard to shake the race season away and remember this is a party event with a racing problem.

This year the bTeam was so stoked SSCXWC was coming to Canada for it’s 9th iteration, that we set out to build a team, and make the Special Edition Romax (Link to real Romax) SSCX, affectionately known as the bromax – hot pink and ready to party.

With a dozen bTeam riders descending on Victoria, we knew we needed some documentation for this event, and Warren Fenton (@wardor, http://www.warrenfenton.com) brought the magic.

So come, take an epic journey with us through photos, and see how the bTeam shredded their Romax (link to real Romax) through the streets, trails and courses @SSCXWC15VIC and how we may never be the same.
