Pedaling with The Poodle

My fourth bike in 3 years is a Brodie Ocho. I love it! After a string of style-over-function, and just plain ridiculous steel frame cruisers, it's the first time I've ever had a non-upright configuration and it's my first aluminum frame. I'm turning into a mature commuter. The Ocho is awesome. It's light and fast, disc brakes are a nice touch, and the internal gearing makes for smooth easy shifting, even from a standstill. I'd like to say that I won't get off and walk up the steepest hills, since I do feel well-equipped, even for the climb up Ontario, but I don't think I'll make that promise yet. Even though it's not a step-through (another first), I'm looking forward to the summer, cruising with the poodle. Thanks for the ride, guys. Oh yeah, and metallic blue fenders from Bikes on the Drive: perfect!
